The first thing you feel when unpacking a device is the specific smell of a vinyl sticker. You don’t expect such a fragrance by opening the box with a new device. In other matters, this smell does not interfere with the work of fashion and disappears in a couple of days.

The package is scarce, but it has everything you need: instructions, a spare vinyl sticker, a thick 2A USB cable.

In comparison with the one-battery eVic VTC Mini, the two-battery “prima” is rather weighty. However, due to its ergonomic shape, the device does not seem too heavy and fits perfectly in the hand.

The skin imitation insert gives fashion a more solid look. It no longer looks like a plastic toy from China, such a device would be appropriate to look not only at the student’s jeans pocket, but also in the hands of a businessman in an expensive suit.

The battery cover is flush and quite thick. There is no doubt that it will last a long time. The lid closes pretty tight, eliminating accidental opening and dropping out of the battery.

Many users complained about the problematic pin and the “atomizer short” error, I did not encounter a similar problem, “prima” easily made friends with all my atomizers.

eVic Primo is not just another “brick” for 2 batteries, it has a drop-like shape, thanks to which, atoms on 25, 24 and even 22 mm look appropriate on it

Since I used eVic VTC Mini before, it was easy for me to figure out the menu of the new box, here it is almost identical. In other matters, for those for whom eVic Primo was the first device from Joyetech, there will be no problems – the menu is quite simple.

The board fries perfectly, no delays after pressing the “fire” button, the heating of the spirals is fast and even. I am not a fan of hot steam, so I enjoy using the “preheat” function. Having set the time in the menu to 0.1s and the power of preheating is 20W higher than the power of the variable, I got a quick warm-up of the helix and a pleasant warm steam.

BoxMod has a built-in balancer and supports fast charging. As soon as I received the device, I immediately inserted “chocolates” into it with a charge difference of about 1V and literally within a hour of the soaring mode, leveled the charge difference. I charge the batteries right in the fashion from the 1A plug. Fast charging in about 1.5 hours raises the charge to 4.09-4.13V. After that, a few hours slowly recharges the batteries, balancing them to 4.2V.

eVic Primo was for me an ideal replacement for my old one-battery. A convenient location in the hand, a nice insert with a leather texture, immaculate work of the board – all this, coupled with ease of use brings only pleasant impressions of use.
